Logitech is looking for multiple Digital Music Software Engineers to add to our Fremont, CA team. This person will be joining a team that delivers digital music products like the Squeezebox, headsets, Bluetooth devices, other speakers and audio peripherals, plus mobile applications. There will be a mix of new feature development and enhancements to these digital music and audio products. You will be part of the product development team responsible for managing, configuring, and expanding the entire cloud based infrastructure used to deliver the digital music experience to our users. Skills needed to be considered for this role are:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in developing and deploying distributed large-scale object oriented client-server applications
  • A deep understanding and professional experience with TCP, HTTP (S) & Web-Services is a MUST
  • 3+ years of experience with C and/or C++ is a MUST
  • 3+ years of experience with Perl, node.js, or Python
  • Strong experience with javascript and HTML, prefer HTML5
  • Strong backend development experience (i.e. cloud, servers)
  • Would like familiarity in some of the following: Lua, svn, autoconf/automake/libtool, poky, Catalyst & XS
  • Prefer strong development background with the Linux platform, open to other Operating Systems
  • Bachelor’s degree is a MUST
  • + (Plus) Experience working with audio, video, or image formats
  • + (Plus) Experience working with distributed teams
  • + (Plus) Master’s in Computer Science
