Position Summary

WRNN-TV, based in Rye Brook, N.Y., is seeking a web developer to perform maintenance and updates across several expanding websites. The ideal candidate should possess a wide range of front-end and back-end web development skills and have an interest in working in a television news environment. Must be able to research, recommend and implement new technologies and understand processes for troubleshooting and debugging.

- PHP and database programming

- Web server administration

- Video file formats and compression

- JavaScript

- HTML 5

- XML

Additional Skills

- Experience with Drupal

- Cross-browser, cross-platform compatibility

- General knowledge of SEO best practices

- Good design sense including site navigation, layout

- Creating and interpreting technical drawings, documentation
