We are seeking a strong, self-motivated individual to help develop,
design and maintain user interfaces for multiple web applications on Microsoft
technologies.  This individual will be a
contributing member of an energetic team of technology and education
professionals.  Our developers and designers
work closely together with external customers to help create engaging user
interfaces and experiences that support the resolution of challenges in
education.  This position requires the
candidate work closely with both the design and development teams to design,
code and test the UI of applications in all major browsers and platforms.
 
Technical Skills Required:
 
Design Experience 
  • 3+
    years of web design experience working in a fast-paced environment
 
Requirements:
  • Front-end
    coding ability and experience
  • Advanced
    knowledge and skills in HTML (HTML5 a plus) & CSS
  • Competent
    with Photoshop
  • Ability
    to hand-code standards-based code
  • Strong
    knowledge of best practices and web-based standards
  • Working
    knowledge of JavaScript

  • Designing web applications
    and experience with Microsoft Visual Studio
    strongly preferred.
