to join our team. Must be adept at front-end web development (esp.
CSS3/Javascript) and the various technologies / protocols that power

Responsibilities:
- Own the presentation layer of our web application and deliver a
compelling user interface working with our design and engineering teams. - Ensure site compatibility in all major browsers (no IE6, yay!).
- Work collaboratively with back end developers (including some
hardcore back-end tinkering yourself) to quickly complete projects in an
agile environment. - Help shape product direction, lead and own outcomes, and contribute to a fun culture.

smaller, fun environment, and to be around really smart people doing
groundbreaking stuff. - Building a unique, lovable, mass-market service that gives
individuals personalized health feedback based on their vital signs,
especially heart rate. - Along the way, we are also amassing the world’s single largest
repository of vital signs — a biometric data set few people have seen
before but that you’ll get to work on every day. - Based in the sunny part of San Francisco close to BART/MUNI and parking.
About You
Requirements
- Technologies: CSS3, Javascript, jQuery, PHP 5.3, Zend Framework (or
similar MVC framework), Git and Adobe Creative Suite (4 or 5). - A portfolio of work (links to projects, code) that we can review.
- Just as comfortable working directly with Javascript as with manipulating frameworks like jQuery.
- A drive to implement pixel perfect renditions of designs and Apple-like design sensibility.
- No offshore contractor inquiries please. You need to be local in the Bay Area and eligible to work in the US.
Ideally
- Experience testing views using a tool like QUnit, Jasmine or Selenium.
- Experience with FLOT, Canvas and data visualization tools.Experience with FLOT, Canvas and data visualization tools.
- Actively contributed to open source software.
- Worked with Amazon Web Services and staged deployment environments.
- Experience with the Facebook platform and social games.
