Location: Seattle, WA (great view of Puget Sound!)
currently seeking to hire a senior Interaction Designer to lead complex,
workflow-driven interaction design projects. Candidates must have previous
client consulting experience with a track record of delivering evidence-driven
design solutions on-time and on-budget. Our work is focused on mobile, desktop
and web applications and the position requires deep interaction design
experience for all areas of software design. Your portfolio must
reflect extensive experience and examples of requirements analysis, wireframes,
screen flow diagrams and documentation of screen-level interactions.

primary and secondary user research to evaluate user needs.
evaluations of existing systems and competitive research.
design, information architecture, system vocabulary, task flows,
workflows, navigation systems, and detailed wireframe prototypes.
and justifying designs to clients on a regular basis.
paper prototypes for usability testing.
project-specific user experience guidelines that assist clients in making
future design decisions.
- Working with
content writers, visual designers, and software developers to ensure a
smooth transition of design into development.

- 8 years’
experience in complex software application interaction design.
- Education in
user-centered design or ability to display a formal understanding of UCD
theory and practice.
- Ability to
combine user goals and business goals to create a viable user experience.
knowledge of various technology constraints/capabilities.
with a range of software development practices, including agile and
use-case based methods.
presentation and written communication skills.
working directly with clients in a consulting role, including leading
knowledge of Visio and other design tools.
- Ability to
drive to client meetings on a regular basis.
working independently and take ownership of work.
- Ability to
focus in time-sensitive environment.
