Bloomberg is looking for a designer interested in creating information experiences on Bloomberg.com and Businessweek.com. This is an opportunity to collaborate with editorial, product, and technology teams while designing information interfaces that reach millions of users. The Information Designer will be responsible for information displays, web workflows, and interactive media in a web production environment.
-3+ years recent/relevant design experience in a web production environment working with major brands
-A strong design foundation in type, layout, visual communication and interactive technology (cross platform, cross device) is required.
-Online or PDF portfolio of work examples
-High proficiency in: Adobe Creative Suite, IA and diagramming, visual design, & CSS/XHTML
-A strong understanding of brand direction, iconography,& information graphics
-Bachelor’s degree preferred
-Experience working with content, particularly financial data is preferred
-An active interest in business, financial, and economic topics
-Branding, art direction, motion experience and visualization all a big plus.
