Location: Los Altos, CA

Clarius is a stealth-mode startup in Los Altos, California that is seeking to revolutionize the way that professionals interact with information — in a way that has the potential to dramatically improve every business process. Trust us, our vision is big.
At the moment, we are a small team of experienced engineers, product managers, and business people whiteboarding and coding our days away in a small garage with a great view.
Our team is seasoned, has a proven track record of success, connections to the upper echelons of the Silicon Valley venture community, and is a blast to work with (at least in our opinion).
We are looking for a singularly remarkable designer who will play an absolutely pivotal role in shaping our product.
Who are you?
  • You are capable of developing a world-class user interface of the highest order (think of design inspirations like Google, Flipboard, Instapaper, and Quora). You understand the importance of user research but are also impatient to press ahead to bring your ideas to life
  • You are a passionate creative who loves building beautiful things
  • You are able to deliver mind-blowing, spectacular, high-fidelity storyboards and mockups grounded in a solid understanding of modern UX/HCI methodologies
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and innovation. We are developing something completely new, and highly value someone who can think outside of the box
The nature of our working relationship is open for discussion. Ideally, you would join as a full-time team member in Silicon Valley with an early stage compensation package (salary + equity).
However, we are also open to considering contractors or contractor-to-full-time arrangements.
Bottom line is we’re flexible once we all determine there’s a match.
