Command Transportation: .NET Programmer

Posted by | August 3, 2012 | Web Pro Job Tips

Location: Skokie, IL

Command Transportation is looking for a programmer to
join our in-house team.
We are a small crew of nerds creating software that helps to keep
Command’s employees at the top of their game.
Do you like to do frivolous work that never sees the light of day? We
don’t either. We take real ideas from concept to production and expect
involvement from the whole team(even you, FNG).
Some programming experience is required; .NET experience is a bonus (not a necessity).
Benefits of working at Command:
  • Working on new problems, not maintaining legacy code
  • Flexible work hours and attire (no spandex)
  • In-office barista
  • Being a contributor at a young, vibrant company
  • Laid back atmosphere that rewards results
About Command:
Command Transportation is a rapidly growing freight brokerage in the fast-paced transportation industry. Since our inception in 1997, Command Transportation has grown on average 38% annually and we’re on track to have another outstanding year. We’ve done this by equipping our energetic sales team of over 400 professionals with state-of-the-art technology and equipment (the in house barista helps as well), allowing them to provide our customers and carriers with the highest level of service. This has resulted in a reputation built on reliability, dependability and the capability to truly work for our clients.
At Command Transportation, we believe that life should be a balance of making deadlines and making that ski-weekend flight to Tahoe on Friday. We work hard because we love what we do and are committed to being the best. We play hard because we have the freedom to do so. Command fosters a creative environment that encourages people to share insights and inspiration, for continuous learning. If this sounds like a job and lifestyle made for you, then Command wants to hear from you.
