Crowe Horwath is looking to hire an experienced consulting
professional to serve as the lead web designer/architect for our Public Sector
Web Content Management Practice.  This individual will have
responsibilities across solution development, sales, and delivery:
  • Lead the technical website vision for
    our public sector web content solution
  • Serve as the technical website architect
    for our public sector web content projects to ensure we create
    best-of-class user experiences for our clients
  • Stay abreast of web design and
    development technology trends
  • Help enhance our website design and
    development solutions,  offerings, techniques, and methodologies
  • Provide technical oversight and quality
    assurance on projects
  • Lead technical teams during project
  • Lead technical aspects of sales process
    (technical approach, cost estimates, proposals, demos, etc.)
  • Publish or speak on web content
    management topics
Skill sets required include:
  • Strong understanding of site structure,
    navigation, UI principles, wireframes, and user flow
  • Expert knowledge of front-end web
    development and underlying technologies including JavaScript, jQuery,
    HTML, HTML5, CSS, AJAX, etc.
  • Solid experience with web content
    management solution design and development (development of templates,
    components, etc.)
  • Experience working across both Microsoft
    and Java platforms
  • Experience with rich internet applications,
    social media and mobile
  • Demonstrated ability to provide
    creative, practical solutions to meet clients’ needs
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and grow
    technical team members
  • Strong organizational, communications
    and interpersonal skills
  • Experience delivering professional
    consulting services
The ideal candidate will also have:
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
    (Illustrator, Photoshop, Fireworks)
  • Experience working with visual designers
    and creative personnel
  • Experience assisting with sales and
  • Experience with SharePoint 2010
  • Experience with Java-based web content
    management solutions
  • Experience delivering professional
    services in the public sector
Minimum Qualifications: (including years of experience
  • College Degree (BS/BA)
  • 5+ years of professional experience
    designing and developing public-facing websites
  • 3+ years of experience delivering
    professional consulting services
