Love Rails and on the hunt for fun, innovative, challenging projects? Enjoy architecting new systems from scratch? We’ve got the projects if you’ve got the talent.
You’ll work on a wide variety of projects from golf apps for unique startups, to enterprise level image processing and order flow systems for industry leading companies. The smaller projects you can tackle yourself in a few weeks and use to fill the space between the large, team projects that run for months or years at a time.
Performance Objectives:
Architect large scale systems for startups like that consist of over 40 iPhone apps, a custom web-based content creation system, and sophisticated sync and build logic to make sure the right users see the right flash cards.
Deliver web apps for startups by focusing on a minimum viable product in uncertain environments with changing priorities, timelines, and budgets.
Engineer innovative solutions to hard problems and write lots of custom code in a short amount of time.
Take a concept, a PSD, and a deadline and use them to design the database, prototype the technology, and build small, unique micro-sites like and
Cut up designs and turn them into cross-browser tested front-ends.
Build interesting, custom animation and Ajax functionality in Javascript.
Implement asynchronous systems for a variety of tasks from automated image manipulation to order processing.
Your Environment:
You’ll be the 17th person at our custom Rails shop with clients that span small businesses and start-ups to Fortune-500 companies like AT&T, Humana, and Dupont. You’ll be challenged daily with interesting projects on a highly accomplished technical team that loves to build cool stuff and constantly pushes the limits of what’s possible on the web.
