E-accent is a distributed software development team, based in the Netherlands and China, working in Ruby on Rails since 2005.
We are a small company with a no-nonsense approach to work, for which we got an award in 2007 (“Netherlands E-work Award”).
We need an experienced Ruby on Rails programmer who can be in charge of the development of a planning and reporting application. Project duration is estimated at 2-3 months.
We have a written introduction, HTML screens and an introduction screencast available. The application needs to be built in Rails (2.3 or 3.0, to be discussed) and Prototype.
The application is small but some of the rules are fairly complex. However we know the rules well and can explain them clearly. A designer and a colleague Rails programmer are available for assistance.
The interface language is Dutch, but the HTML source (including IDs and CLASS names) and the project documentation are in English. Standard terminology is used across documentation and the source code.
