The World Wide Software Quality Engineering (WW SQE) group is looking for an experienced Software Engineer. 
The WW SQE group is a central team within EA responsible for software quality engineering for a variety of our EA Titles. 
Critical partner of game development teams, WW SQE provides solutions for game debugging, build verification, automated testing, and data analysis. Our customers include the whole of the development team from Producers to Artists and Engineers as well as the QA team from Management to Core Game Testers. 
Our main responsibility is to ensure the highest possible standards of software quality. 
WW SQE provides game teams with engineering resources to enable black-box, white-box, automated and other forms of testing while advocating and educating game team software engineers on best practices and developing tools to increase the productivity of the team as a whole. 
We are looking for a talented software engineers with a great sense of service. 
Professional experience in C# and C++ is required. Knowledge and interest in software quality assurance and test automation is desirable. 
As service providers, candidates need to be self driven, independent, able to prioritize tasks based on ROI analysis, achieve consensus with the various parties and drive customer satisfaction. 
Excellent communication, documentation and problem solving skills are required. 
Reports To: World Wide SQE Director 
Key Duties and Responsibilities 
•Integrate systems and tools into production game code in a controlled, professional manner. 
•Maintain tools, integration, and technologies to support highly reliable environment. 
•Develop automated reports to analyze data from the testing process. 
•Understand and follow standard software engineering processes and best practices for requirements, design, implementation and testing. 
•Report regular status against assigned tasks and proactively identify project risks and issues. 
•Monitor customer satisfaction and escalate issues 
•Contribute to the WW SQE group’s strategy 
• Continuous, front-line communication with all customers on goals and strategy 
• Set realistic milestones and work towards successful completion. 
Required Skills: 
•Computer Science Degree, Computer Engineering Degree, or equivalent. 
•Excellent understanding of software quality assurance concepts, debugging processes and procedures. 
•Professional Software development experience in C++ and or C# (Internships included). 
•Preferred knowledge in gaming consoles. 
•Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
•Strong ability to self-manage and prioritize work effectively within deadlines. 
•Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills. 
• Ability to negotiate with end-users on features, priorities, deliverables, and timeline 
• Ability to work independently with minimal outside supervision. 
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible – able to adapt plans and react to change. 
• Successfully interface with customers with a diverse set of backgrounds and needs – able to speak their language, appreciate their challenges, and maintain their respect. 
• Goal driven achiever with high productivity. 
• Ability to see, understand and work within the wider strategic picture. 
• Resourceful and innovative – identify issues and implement solutions, as required.
