Fitbit: Senior Mac OS X / iOS Engineer

Fitbit is a San Francisco startup that makes a tiny fitness tracking device that connects to a personal health management website.
We are building a world-class desktop and mobile software development team and are looking for a senior Mac developer to join us.
The role involves a 50 / 50 split between OS X and iOS development.
On the OS X side, you will be developing and maintaining installers, setup apps, data sync daemons and USB drivers to support Mac users of our devices. Candidates will be judged primarily on their technical ability in this role.
On the iOS side, you’ll be building and launching compelling health and fitness mobile applications for iOS devices. Previous experience in developing iOS apps is not required. If you are a strong C, C++ or ObjC developer, you’ll have the opportunity to learn on the job.
Required experience
  • 5+ years development in C, C++ or Objective C
  • Strong knowledge and development experience with Mac device drivers
  • Demonstrated ability to build and ship OS X products in one of the above languages
