  • Refactor and maintain existing code
  • Write tests and fix bugs
  • At least 2 years of experience developing RESTful web services using industry standard best practices and common frameworks
  • Coding experience with Django web application framework on significant projects
  • Familiar with common tools used in large application deployments such as: Fabric, setuptools, Git
  • Experience with asynchronous tools like gevent/eventlet, multiprocessing, Celery task queue, and web workers
  • Database programming experience with MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, and Amazon SimpleDB
  • Adheres to PEP8 Python coding style standards
  • Engaged with the Python community and stays up to date with latest technologies, and patterns
