our own products including MusicID [iPhone | Android | Others] and LyricsID [iPhone], but people also look to us to help
them design their mobile experience. We’ve worked with all facets of the mobile industry
including large telecom, media, and device companies. Verizon Wireless,
AT&T, NVIDIA, Sony, Nielsen, Pandora and Wieden+Kennedy are just a few of
our clients.

Role:
We’re looking for an exceptional
User Experience Designer whose
primary job will be driving the visual design and brand for our projects. Your work should visually delight and inspire confidence. People
will want to tweet about how awesome your work is. You’ll share teaser shots on
Dribbble and your peers will criticize and love it.

You’ll work out of our
office and engage with the team in a very collaborative way. Our teams are
small. So, all individuals work on tasks that have immediate, visible impact.
We have daily core hours in an open office plan, so we often work through
problems together, face-to-face.

We work on Macbook Pro or
ThinkPad laptops with good-sized monitors on big desks. We sit in Aeron or
Mirra chairs and have kitchens stocked with drinks and snacks. We are a
friendly group of people and have a lot of fun working hard together.

Responsibilities:
- Design easy-to-use,
beautiful user experiences and interfaces for a variety of mobile apps - Concept and
create new product ideas for the mobile space—knowledge of new mobile technologies
and trends are key - Contribute
to the visualization of innovative apps through white boarding, wireframes,
high-fidelity mockups, prototypes and GUI elements with frequent iteration and
evolution of design solutions - Engage with our team of developers to collaborate and iterate in fast-paced design-build cycles—experience
w/version control systems a plus - Work closely
with management and design to gauge the feasibility of proposed designs and
ensure that they support the business requirements - Present designs
for review and positively accept constructive feedback to be able to keep the
design process moving forward
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of real
world design experience—mobile user experience designer, or similar role
designing mobile device or web applications - Strong
design background with samples of work demonstrating experience creating exceptional
user-centered mobile applications or rich internet - Technical
experience making web front ends with HTML and CSS
- Experience
interacting on a collaborative team and working directly with developers to
implement designs - Excellent
communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and ability to gracefully
defend your design decisions - Experience
with design tools including Photoshop, Fireworks, etc. to create interactions
flows, wireframes, low-fidelity mockups and high-fidelity screen level design
Bonus Qualifications
- Bachelor’s
degree in CS, design, human-computer interaction (HCI) - Strong
technical experience, specifically in regards to new technologies (HTML 5, etc.) - Experience
designing for media and immersive experiences
