The Laboratory
for Computational Cell Biology has an immediate
for a programmer / software designer for the purpose of transforming
live cell image analysis packages developed in the lab over the last five years
(Matlab and C/C++) into turn-key programs for the cell biology community. The
position is funded initially by an NIH grant for one year; however longer term
funding is a possibility. The LCCB is located at the Harvard
Medical School
campus in Boston’s
Longwood Medical Area, which is easily accessible by public transportation. The
salary will be commensurate with the experience of the candidate.

1 page) description of experience in software development. Strong working
knowledge of Matlab is a definitive advantage for this position, although not
