Liaison International, a stable, fast-growing, and

state-of-the-art information technology products and services to
educational associations, accrediting agencies, institutions of higher
education, and health professions, is seeking a candidate with skills
and experience in Ruby on Rails development to join our talented team of
developers and take on high profile projects immediately. Positions
are available in our Watertown, MA office as well as our Buffalo, NY

What you’ll be doing
The candidate will be working on a variety of projects, including:
  • Maintaining and extending Liaison’s existing web applications
  • Creating new applications leveraging Ruby on Rails and other open source technologies
  • Contributing standardized modules and tools to our code library
  • Helping develop a solid release/deployment management framework
What you’ll need for this position
  • 3+ years of MVC-based web application development experience, including proven experience in Ruby on Rails
  • Solid SQL experience (developing queries and stored procedures)
  • Experience with the Apache/Linux environment
  • Working knowledge/experience with HTML/Javascript/CSS/AJAX
  • Understanding of source control systems (Subversion / Git a plus)
  • Experience working in a dynamic, client-driven development environment
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
