you an energetic Front End Developer interested in working with some of

Group is looking for an outstanding Front End Developer who loves
responsive design and the semantic web. You will work alongside a
multidisciplinary team of designers, developers, content specialists and
project managers to create effective sites that build brand awareness,
generate revenue, educate people on issues, and enable membership
The Front End Developer will:
  • Build and maintain effective site pages & templates
  • Develop
    cross-browser/platform code to match design specs for complex page
    layouts while adhering to current standards. You make it look good, no
    matter what!
  • Translating project goals into user flows, screens, and final XHTML delivery
  • Theme CMS, blog, and publishing platforms
  • Develop to and evolve code standards
  • Promote code reuse
  • Work on multiple projects for a variety of clients
  • Maintain brand consistency across multiple platforms and browsers
  • Provide consults to the new business team for proposals and budgets

  • Are a wizard at cross-browser compatibility issues (test, test, and test)
  • Have a user-centered approach to site implementation, usability, and information architecture

  • Want to work in a fast-paced environment where you have to be a flexible thinker to get the job done
  • Love solving challenges independently or as part of a great team

You will have:
  • Proven ability to handle cross-browser coding
  • Proficiency in XHTML, CSS and strong knowledge of Javascript
  • Knowledge of current web standards, in particular, web 2.0 type applications
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards such as Section 508
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Photoshop (graphic optimization, etc.)
We’d love for you to have:
  • Ability to extend Jquery in new and exciting ways
  • Experience
    integrating with Content Management Systems: WordPress, SiteFinity,
    CommonSpot, Expression Engine, Custom CMS products, etc.
  • Experience working with a wide variety of development technologies, including: PHP, ColdFusion, ASP.NET, Python
  • Rich media experience (Flash, video, etc)
  • Knowledge of DOM programming
  • Leadership experience managing a team is a plus, but not required
