We’re looking for a talented API Engineer to help us extend the Meetup platform to every mobile device and hyperlocal web site.
Candidates should have a solid understanding of HTTP and an unbiased appreciation for the increasingly diverse software platforms that support local community building.
Working on the Meetup API, you will:
* Write software in Python, Java, and JavaScript
* Specify and implement new methods and functionality
* Write clear and precise user documentation
* Extend the reach of the API by facilitating integrations
* Support API users on any platform
The ideal candidate has experience in:
* Python, Java, and JavaScript
* SQL databases
* Producing and consuming Web APIs
* Git or other DVCS
* Open-source software projects
