Mochi Media, Inc. is looking for a User Interface Designer to work on our apps for Flash game developers and their players. Our UI Designer will be responsible for user experience design, visual design, and XHTML/CSS/JS development. You should be skilled at starting with nothing more then a description of features, and being able to craft a simple and easy to use page from start to finish. We’re looking for a rockstar who is multi-disciplined between UX, design, and client-side development.
You will be working along-side artists, other UI designers, product managers and engineers to create these top-notch user experiences. The Mochi team is a passionate group of people who love games and building products for professional and indie developers alike. Your work will be used by thousands of game developers, and millions of game players all across the globe.
Requirements and Skills:
  • 3+ years of real-world UI design and development experience required.
  • Solid XHTML/CSS coding skills.
  • Proven knowledge of Javascript and JQuery – We’re looking for some innovative UI here.
  • Extensive portfolio of online applications showing a good sense of usability combined with good layout and visual design.
  • Able to take a concept from sketch or wireframe to final implementation.
  • Comfortable working in Django templates or a similar template language.
  • Strong knowledge of Python/Django for working in templates
  • All the above with world class branding to boot
