Mohu is a young digital agency based in the heart of shoreditch between Liverpool Street and Old Street. We work on a wide range of projects from entertainment/fashion brands to web apps for start-ups. We are looking for a design literate front-end developer who along with demonstrating the usual proficiency in HTML/CSS is enthusiastic about developing with emerging technologies.
It’s important to us that the right person have the freedom to experiment so as long as you can explain your reasoning we are happy for you to use whichever frameworks / methodologies you think are most appropriate.
Everyone should feel invested in a project so you should be comfortable working early on with designers contributing to wire-frames and feeding back on feasibility. Our ideal candidate is fun, upbeat and willing to embrace their inner geek. This is your chance to get in early with a fast growing and forward thinking company.
Perks
A well rested developer is a happy developer so we’ll give you two weeks paid leave during the festive season in addition to the usual 20 days and other bank holidays. We are also curating a fine selection of blue and green teas.
Salary
Depending on experience £20k – £32k + bonuses, we would prefer someone with agency experience but we are willing to take on graduates if you can impress us.
Must haves
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and a javascript framework
Bonus points for
  • HTML5
  • Design experience
  • Experience with mobile platforms
  • PHP/Python/Ruby
  • Experience developing with Symphony CMS (www.symphony-cms) or any form of XSLT
  • Experience coding HTML emails / newsletters for Campaign Monitor
  • GIT version control
  • Experience with Less CSS
