Summary
The primary responsibility for this position is to work with the
creative and interactive teams to create compelling, usable and beautiful user
experiences.

Responsibilities
- You’re passionate about creating meaningful user
experiences and interfaces for web and mobile. It’s not something you do only
when the client asks, but you live in the ever-evolving culture of A List Apart,
Aaron Walter, Trent Walton, Phil Coffman, Ethan Marcotte, and Jason Santa
Maria. - Display a sophisticated knowledge of using
the right design devices (e.g. color, typography, motion, etc.) to create
work that draws the user’s eye, increases interaction and consideration,
builds brand equity and successfully meets goals. - Strong believer in mobile first, responsive
design, progressive enhancement, web typography, and web standards
development - Understands how code shapes and influences
design including cross-browser & cross-device compatibility issues with Internet
Explorer, Chrome/Safari, and Firefox - Conceptual understanding of HTML and CSS,
including HTML5 and CSS3 - Is a team player that maintains a great
attitude - Adapts to a dynamic environment, changing
scope, and aggressive deadlines - Acts in the client’s best interest
- Passionate about solving problems
- Understands the meaning of commitment
- Has the ability to prioritize and focus on
the what’s most important - Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite,
especially Photoshop and Illustrator
Preferred, but Not Required
- HTML/CSS programming experience
- Mobile interface/application experience
