This is a contract position.
Come show off your creative Web 2.0 design skills and passion for pixel perfect UIs—help define the user experience design and strategy for our online support tools.  You’ll work with our support, marketing, and IT teams on rebuilding the UI within our online support suite to improve usability through better design. A thorough understanding of typography, copywriting and general UI best practices is required.
Our ideal candidate can seamlessly switch from macro to micro, understanding the strategic value and business dynamics of collaboration across the organization, and is equally comfortable discussing (and iterating on) their prototypes in pixels and code. You’ll be working as part of the support site team, but operate well designing independently. You will deliver fully functional, static code for the designs of each screen you design.
When presenting to the team, you’ll discuss the user experience guidelines that influenced your design, provide specification documents, wireframes and document improvements—all based on your expertise and previous work.  This requires strong verbal, written and visual presentation skills.
