Location: San Francisco
Local discovery is broken, let’s fix it.
We’re an SF based VC-backed startup of 4 founding engineers. We’re small enough to be scrappy and offer huge upside, and well funded enough to potentially make a huge dent in an emerging multi-billion dollar local commerce space. We’re looking for a founding level front end developer to get in on the ground floor with unlimited upside and help design a product that captures the imaginations of millions of people across the globe.
Our goal is to create an online scrapbook for your city to collect and share experiences with your friends. Best of all, we want people to discover new experiences by following like-minded Tastemakers who make great recommendations. Our dream is to create a product that is beautiful and engaging and helps inspire millions to expand and enrich their lives.
We’re based in San Francisco in the Mission District and backed by investors including a Facebook Cofounder, Tim Draper and Intuit Cofounder Eric Dunn. We have an all-star founding pedigree from companies like Zynga and Facebook to socially engineer the right viral mechanisms to scale rapidly, and our version 1 of the product already generated over $1M in revenue and 100K users.
We’re in the process of revamping the product – the new site is still in alpha and we’re looking for a cofounding-level front end engineer to get in on the ground floor and help lead our new launch.
The ideal candidate is passionate about building beautiful products and dreams of doing something great that changes the world. We believe this is a 100M+ user product in a multi-billion dollar local commerce space with unlimited upside that solves an unmet need for relevant local discovery. We’re offering founding-level equity, competitive salary/benefits plus whatever dream engineering setup you need to be awesome. We also do daily catered lunch and dinners, massages, and other great things to make ourselves happy and operating on all cylinders.
- Ambition – a desire to improve your skill set and be the best you can be
- Attention to detail
- Personality – you have a broad set of interests beyond software
- Work ethic – you believe anything worth doing requires hard work
- Culture – we have good team chemistry together
