We are looking for a Web Designer who really thinks in terms of the customer experience and how to design for the most clicks and conversions to join our in-house creative team.  If you are a self-starter with strong creative ideas, this is a great place for you. You will be integral to the business and partner with internal clients to pitch test ideas that result in increased revenue. The best part is, you will learn the results of your creative work and have the opportunity to make improvements to continue to increase web site, email and banner ad conversion.
About the position:
The Web Designer will be responsible for meeting with clients, understanding their marketing objectives, gathering client feedback and delivering final work that supports company revenue growth. The Web Designer’s daily work includes generating ideas and working on: banner ads, email design tests and tweaks and site updates. Flash skills are critical in this role.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
  • Designing web pages, e-mail, banner ads for Provide Commerce brands: ProFlowers, Personal Creations, RedEnvelope, Shari’s Berries and Cherry Moon Farms
  • Proposing creative tests for email, banners or site that drive more revenue
  • Generating design solutions to improve click rates and conversions
  • Meeting and working with clients on projects
  • Flash animation work on banner ads
  • Site updates
  • Tracing your own projects to meet deadlines
  • Other duties may be assigned
  • 4-year degree in Graphic Arts or equivalent.
  • 4 or more years experience as a Web Designer
  • Retail site design experience
  • Direct marketing experience
  • Must have advanced Flash skills
  • Have a solid understanding of CSS
  • Adobe CS4
  • Know how to design banner ads and e-mails
  • Ability to work evenings or weekends 3 – 4 times per year, as assigned
  • Must have exceptional client facing skills
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and under pressure of deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
