in: here, it’s

credit for work.
All positions are part?time or full?time in our downtown Philadelphia office.
UI Developer
The other half of our ideal interactive squads, the UI developer handles all
the front-end stuff so the backend developers don’t have to (as much.) UI
Developers work closely with creative teams in the early parts of a project’s
inception, so knowing what is and isn’t practical from a back-end
perspective is key. You’re the bridge between the creative guys and your
development team, able to think as a designer and a front-end coder. You
need to be able to:
  • Be an architect: have a visual orientation but a solid understanding of
the nuts and bolts in a web application
  • Listen to your instincts: be able to work on UI best practices and
heuristics; circle back for user studies in later phases
  • Write perfect, hand-coded HTML and CSS, including knowledge of
    common CSS3 tricks and transitions
  • Turn Photoshop mockups into a pixel-perfect web page
  • Work with Web Developers to write client-side code in JavaScript
    using the jQuery framework
  • Interpret existing web analytics and implement a web analytics
    strategy for your interactive projects
  • Be able to deliver under tight deadlines
  • Be able to communicate skillfully with everyone involved in an
interactive project, from creative directors and account managers to
    developers, contractors and third parties
  • A fan of Mac OS X
Big pluses for:
  • Previous interactive agency experience

  • Mobile user interface experience

  • ActionScript/Flash expertise

To apply: A portfolio of previous work (code samples and visual samples) is required for consideration. Expect a stringent interview process. Email what you’ve got to
