an award-winning strategic marketing agency located in New Haven, CT.  We are seeking a Director of Interactive/Technology
to join our team.  This is a unique

Some
of the key responsibilities include:
·      
Responsible for providing expertise and recommendations for
online solutions and online marketing as part of larger integrated strategy.
·      
Spearhead development and expansion of interactive products /
services offered by the agency, including development of supporting sales,
development operations, and reporting processes and documentation.
·      
Oversee day-to-day operations and deliverables by interactive
development department for client projects and client recurring services.
·      
Develop and coordinate hiring and training of interactive employees
and freelancers.
The
qualified candidate for the position of Director of Interactive Strategies will
need to have, as a minimum, the following experience and expertise:
·      
5 years experience in interactive marketing and interactive
development, agency experience preferred.  
·      
Expert knowledge of the following online developing platforms/tools:
HTML 5, CSS, LAMP, FLASH, MySQL, WordPress, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, mobile
platforms, etc.
·      
Experience with content management systems such as WordPress,
Joomla, Expression Engine, Drupal, or others.
·      
Expertise in database architecture, usability design /
testing and online / mobile application development.
·      
Good working knowledge of the Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator,
Flash) and ability to slice and optimize a designed mockup for web use.
·      
Knowledge of usability and quality testing standards.
Helpful but not required:
·      
Understanding of SEO,
and accessibility issues and how they relate to development 
·      
E-commerce experience
·      
Experience with or knowledge
of Facebook application development and coding technologies.
·      
Experience with Facebook
page solution platforms such as Vitrue, Buddy Media, etc.
