We are looking to hire a User Experience (UX) Designer to our firm with the following background:
  • Ability to understand business requirements/rules and their impact on UX solutions
  • Conceptual and/or applied knowledge of UX best practices
  • Experience with wireframe development in building GUI’s (Graphical User Interfaces) to evolve wireframes into low, mid and preferably high level screen designs
  • Experience in graphic production with tool suites such as Photoshop and Fireworks
  • Experience with prototype development using Axure is strongly preferred but not required.
  • Graphic production skills for image/photo production using either Photoshop or fireworks
  • Experience with conducting user research and usability testing
  • Working knowledge of User Experience, Business Analysis and Software Quality Assurance best practices as well as standards
The following soft skills would be helpful in positioning a person for success in this type of technology role:
  • Strong analytical details and brings a focused attention to detail
  • Someone who can independently contribute with minimal direction given as well as contribute on a team basis when detailed direction is needed
  • Strong critical thinking skills in offering suggestions and/or raising concerns involving UX designs
  • Someone who flourishes as well as works efficiently under demanding timelines
  • Strong ability to multitask and shift between numerous project efforts simultaneously
