is looking for an Interaction Designer that has proven success with shipped
consumer web products to join our product team.
is an exciting opportunity for anyone passionate about interaction design and
building innovative products. You will be a key member in a small, very
talented group of software product development professionals. You will be
responsible for defining and validating the complete customer experience and ensuring
that the product that gets built will meet the needs of the target users. You
will work very closely with the product manager and the lead developer to come
up with the detailed product specification.
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for design through the entire product lifecycle, from      initial explorations to final design deliverables
Work closely with product managers to determine features and priorities
Working with engineers to deliver polished final product
Translating usability and field research findings into design
Help coordinate usability labs and other forms of user research and use
feedback to create improvements
Degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design or
related field or equivalent work experience
3+ years’ working as an UX/UI designer in a software product and/or web
development environment required
Fluent with wireframing and design tools such as InDesign, Illustrator,
Omnigraffle, etc
Experience with usability testing and interpreting results to improve
product iteratively
Able to understand complex products and generate an efficient and
elegant UI for the user
Interest in making the entire product better, not just the UI
Experience working closely with product managers and engineering teams
Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills
Demonstrated experience designing and shipping live sites
Proven ability to create effective user interfaces for large-scale
consumer internet products
Experience with ethnographic user research methods such
as Contextual Inquiry
Understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodologies
Knowledge of Service Design
Proficiency in related skills (e.g., DHTML, Usability Testing, Graphic
Design, Prototyping)
