in managing and growing an engineering team working on cross-platform products in
a fast-growing space, leading by example through excellent code and process,
and tackling interesting technical challenges that will have a broad consumer
we are looking for:
experienced programmer (3+ years Ruby required, other languages and experience
valued) who loves to code and has led technical teams for at least 4 years.
start-up technologist, who understands how to operate efficiently
in building scalable architecture – ideally has been through the “hockey stick”
in debugging and optimizing code for application performance
contributor to the open source community
full-time in the NY area
planning and execution on the product roadmap
hiring, and management of a local & remote technical team
communicating technical progress to the non-technical team
feature rollouts on tight deadlines
feature rollouts across different platforms (web app, iOS, Android,
contributing to code and mentoring other engineers
the technical “face” of Stylitics – with the community, clients, and investors.
