So, what will you do?

* Reporting to the UX and Design Mananger, he/she will be designing compelling user experiences across many products.
* Develop prototypes, storyboards, screen-flow diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, mock-ups and written text to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. Use whatever tools that make you responsive, fast and effective
* Lead user research and usability testing effortsÂ
* Measure the success of our user experience. Revise and update designs based on user testing and customer feedback
* Create UI specification documentation as necessary
* Work closely with agile engineering and product management teams to ensure execution of design requirements
* Drive best practices with an eye toward repeatable design patterns, localization, scalability, and ease of maintenance

Requirements:

* 2+ years experience working as an interaction designer
* Demonstrated experience designing usable applications
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively, communicating design rationale and building consensus
* Experience with end-user usability testing
* A strong, clean visual design sense

Bonus Points:

* Background designing addictive experiences, like games or social networksÂ
* Experience managing the design of complex, feature rich applications that already have a lot of usage
* Experience designing graphically-driven desktop applications
* Experience with user-generated content driven systems
* Localization/translation/internationalization experience
* Hands on web development skills, knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
* Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Factors, HCI, cognitive science, graphic design or related field

User Experience and Design Manager
The UX/Design Manager will be responsible for growing and developing a team of talented designers. The candidate will also be responsible for identifying and managing external resources in order to effectively scale the team when needed. Your role will be to develop this team and ensure its output drives delightful product experiences and strong revenue growth.

So, what will you do?

* Oversee the development and timely flow of project deliverables, ensuring they are aligned with product goals, and drive work to completion.
* Work across teams and provide counsel to user experience and UI design.Â
* Conduct constructive design reviews and understand that building and improving your team is your most important task.
* Manage multiple internal and external organizations executing UI requirements, and overall integration of user center design principles
* Research and be up to date on the newest technologies, market research information, competitive insights and usability data; integrate that into company strategy.Â
* Design, develop&execute application user experiences that embrace overall UX strategy
* Manage product stakeholders; new product launches, and communication of application UI strategy and design work and status to all levels of management.Â
* Leverage learnings to update IMVUs visual language.
* Willingness to roll-up sleeves to dig in with peers and team members to problem solve
* Motivate team members, clarify difficult issues, and orchestrate efforts
* Develop and coach team in their ability to generate effective designs
* Identify, hire and manage external resources and/or contractors

Requirements:

* Degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction or related field.
* 3-5 years managing a UX/UI design team for the development of client, web and mobile applications.
* Deep knowledge of user experience methods, ideation, storytelling, prototyping, design frameworks, concept visualization, problem-framing skills, design principles, etc.
* Demonstrated leadership abilities and an enjoyment in working collaboratively in diverse, cross-departmental teams.
* Ability to manage team members working on multiple projects, communicate clearly, and provide constructive feedback to the team while meeting deadlines.
* Motivate team members, clarify difficult issues, and orchestrate efforts.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash) and Balsamiq
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.

* Create and iterate web/game prototypes
* Work with internal and external resources to meet production schedules and maintain a coherent design vision throughout the production process

So, what will you do?

As the Visual Designer you will be responsible for the design of multiple applications and will be instrumental in driving the visual design strategy, branding and â look and feelâ? for IMVUâ?s global community. Working closely with the design and product management teams, you will be turning product requirements and UX research into highly creative user-centric designs while balancing input and feedback from multiple departments.Â

Responsibilities:

* Work closely with design team on visual design of product UX, mobile products, websites, and print projects.
* Creating screen layouts, color palettes, typography, UI elements, and icons.
* Creating production-ready pixel perfect graphic assets/comps for product (client, web app, mobile).
* Ensure that the presentation of our product meets the highest levels of quality, efficiency, consistency, and innovation.
* Provide clear strategic solutions, guidelines and design direction.
* Identify product and branding needs and initiating design solutions that will be utilized by team members.
* Creating visual designs of templates and UI elements based on wireframes.
* Create and refine Visual Design Standards and Style Guideline creation.
* Present concepts and designs to product owners and team members.
* Strong usability intuition, combined with fast prototyping, to create the best user experience.
* Create working and/or paper-prototypes of key UI elements or specific interactions to test.
* Provide overall graphic and design support in a fast paced, â?startupâ? environment.

Requirements:

* Strong online portfolio (including application design).
* BA/BS or MA/MS in Graphic Design/New Media desired.
* 3+ years experience working as a visual designer or graphic/web designer.
* A strong eye for usability, typography, layout, and UI design (obsessive pixel-pusher).
* Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash and InDesign).
* Experience with user experience design principles and processes.
* Able to work in a fast paced environment and meet daily and weekly deadlines.
* Strong organizational skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, self-motivated, ability to multi-task and work independently.
* Experience working successfully leading visual design within interdisciplinary project teams and collaborating with other disciplines, interaction designers and researchers.
* Passionate about design, a positive â can-doâ? attitude, and the ability to be highly creative within an agile development process.

User Research Manager:

The User Experience Research Manager will be responsible for managing all phases of the research process, from project conception, to implementation, development of recommendations and evangelism. He/she will work closely with design, product, data insights and engineering teams to gather findings and inform product and design decisions.

Responsibilities:

* Plan and conduct research using qualitative methods such as onsite usability studies, remote usability studies, field studies, user interviews, heuristic evaluation, and concept testing to assess the user experience of product features and concepts.
* Collect and analyze user attitude and behavior data through surveys, A/B testing, and analytics.
* Evangelize research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and oral presentations.
* Work with designers, product managers, engineers, and research managers to prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

Qualifications

* A degree preferred in computer science, human computer interaction, cognitive science, experimental psychology, anthropology, information science or related field.
* 5 years of related work experience in an applied research setting (internet, social and gaming).
* 3 years leading a team of user experience researchers or multi-disciplinary design team
* Experience with quantitative research with the capability of integrating quantitative and qualitative insights into a prescriptive action plans.
* Strong understanding of strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during each product phase.
* Persona and Scenario development experience.
* Must be comfortable with Data Analysis (qualitative and quantitative).
* Must be comfortable with understanding business requirements and translating into user research where needed.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and collaborate skill
* Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
