About the Position:
We’re looking for a Javascript/ Frontend engineer to work on the development of our HTML5 pedestrian navigation application. This is an opportunity to work on the heart of our product experience. If you think in JavaScript and have an obsession with mobile web performance, we’d love to get to know you!
Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain our mobile application frontend and corresponding APIs
  • Play a key role working with Product Development/ UX designing and implementing new application features
  • Create/improve best practices/processes for development/testing/deployment
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years experience developing web/ mobile applications
  • Strong knowledge of Javascript/HTML/CSS/Ajax/HTTP
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript Application Frameworks (Sencha Touch/ ExtJS, YUI, Dojo, jQuery, GWT, etc)
  • Passion for detail/ obsession for optimizing the mobile web experience
  • Experience building and consuming web services
Desired:
  • Experience with Facebook/Foursquare Auth and APIs
  • Experience with Python/Django
  • Experience building/working with JavaScript unit tests a plus
  • Experience with the Sencha Touch mobile UI framework a big plus
