tribr Software Engineer Mission:
To delight our users by solving their problems as elegantly as possible by continually improving our product and our the dev ops process while managing our systems.   
tribr Software Engineer Objectives:
  1. Design and implement improvements to our existing features
  2. Design and implement new features based on our product vision and user feedback
  3. Implement a continuous release process that that integrates tightly with our designer workflow
  4. Manage all of our infrastructure (all hosted)
  5. Learn and improve your own skills continually
  6. Contribute on major strategy, product, technical, and hiring decisions
  7. Eventually, rearchitect the product from the ground up based on our vision and user feedback (our current product is Ruby on Rails, but I am open to hiring a non-Ruby on Rails person, as rewriting in a different language/framework for future versions is an option and learning Ruby on Rails won’t be that hard.)

  • Creative problem solving
  • Story creation and estimation
  • Software architecture design
  • Ability to quickly learn new languages/frameworks/platforms and implement them as needed
  • Continuous integration and release experience
  • Web app testing and debugging experience
  • Ruby/Rails and/or Python/Django
