Trondent Development Corp., a leading provider of progressive software and internet based technology solutions to travel and corporate clients, is looking for a Senior Java Developer, with strong experience in developing, testing, implementing, debugging, and supporting computer software that resides and is executed in a Java/J2EE/JEE environment.  A successful candidate will be an experienced developer with a team mentality, have the ability to research and evaluate new technologies related to application development, and be able to mentor junior developers The Senior Java Developer will also be self-reliant, proficient at time management, and possess effective written and oral communication skills with the ability to create informational documentation.
  • J2EE / JEE (JSP, Servlet)
  • Java
  • SQL
  • MSSQL Server or any other RDBMS
  • HTML/XHTML, CCS and Javascript (Prototype, JQuery, YUI), AJAX
  • Comfortable with Application servers (Tomcat, JBoss, Glassfish and others)
  • Spring, Hibernate, XML, XSL, Web Service, ANT
  • Eclipse
  • Minimum 7 years of working experience working in a fast paced team environment.
  • Must have experience handling deployment of software releases.
  • Must be able to create solutions to complex problems which require innovation and forward thought process.
  • Must be able to scope and prioritize technical design requirements to meet specified business requirements.
  • Must exhibit a good attitude as of an independent individual looking for solutions by own means.
  • Must adhere to and communicate best practices to project team.
