Want to lead technology development in a rapidly growing and well funded startup?
Here’s what you’d get to work on:
  • Enabling and transforming our client relationships and our marketing/sales/operations through the application of technology solutions
  • Working closely with designers, business users, and the management team to define and execute the technology roadmap for the company
  • Refining our CRM, inventory, vendor management, finance, and consumer web platforms
  • Building custom integrations between our systems and other web services
  • Identifying and manage in-house and freelance developers – defining requirements, scope, budgets, and deadlines
  • Adding to this list with exciting and valuable projects that none of the rest of our team has thought of yet
  • Actively participating in the joys and challenges of working as part of a tight-knit, resource constrained team
Here’s what your background might look like:
  • You’ve worked at an early-stage start-up
  • You have 3+ years of professional web development experience using scripting-language-based frameworks such as Ruby/Rails, Python/Django, PHP/Cake, etc.
  • You are Expert level in Ruby/Rails (or PHP) + MySQL
  • You are familiar with front-end development using XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • A background in recommendation algorithms is a plus
