As a senior Java developer at Where, you will be working on a next generation
location targeted advertising platform building out our core APIs and systems
components. We look for individuals with a creative zest for problem solving
and value the ability to think and act quickly. 
WHERE developers collaborate in small, agile teams, and believe in code
ownership and pride for a job well done.
Our technology spans web, mobile, and everything in between.  Our
solutions need to be scalable and robust, as well as simple and easy for our
end users. In that context, you will be expected to research and develop
cutting edge technologies to accomplish your mission. 
 The ideal candidate will have:
  • 5+
    years experience focused on server-side API development
  • Web
    or mobile consumer applications background preferred
  • Solid
    foundation in software design and development
  • Experience
    with Java, Spring, and MySql/NoSql technologies
  • Familiarity
    with UNIX/Linux and Windows environments
  • Excellent
    communication skills and proven ability to lead development teams
  • BS
    degree in Computer Science
  • A
    general passion for fun (and foosball)
