Job Description:
We’re looking for a talented engineer that is an “artiste” in their own right. You should know CSS/HTML backwards, forwards, and in between. HTML5 and CSS3 excite you to no end. You judge the character of people that choose to use outdated versions of IE and were excited when “Helvetica” was released on DVD.
If you find it an exciting challenge to make things visible, beautiful, AND workable to users without having to exclude a lot of them, and you thrive in the hybrid position between programmers and designers and enjoy dealing with both — this position is for you. Moreover, if you love front-end work and live to create great consumer web experiences, we need you at Wildfire.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience developing with HTML, CSS, and Javascript
  • Enthusiasm for web standards
  • A passion for user experience and design
  • Solid experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Prototype, jQuery, etc.)
  • Experience working with template engines/languages a plus, ERB/HAML preferred
  • Experience with HTML5 and CSS 3 a plus
  • Experience/familiarity with Ruby a huge plus
  • Knowledge and experience with professional typography a plus
  • You should be willing to relocate to the Bay Area
